THE PEOPLE OF GOD'S WORD.

When we talk about the Word of GOD what are we referring to?

What is the Word? A Word comes with the explanation of ideas, mind and plan of the originator.  Therefore, to be a people of GOD's Word means to be a people who live according to His ideas, His thoughts, His plans and His mind for our lives.

How can we learn the plans, thoughts, ideas and mind of GOD?

1 Corinthians 2:11For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.  

The Spirit of GOD knows the mind of GOD and reveals it to us. He may reveal it to us through reading of the Bible, through our spiritual leaders, or through the Rhema or Logos Word of GOD.

Purpose of God’s Word

In Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the SowerAnd bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;It shall not return to Me  void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. When GOD speaks two things are brought forth: His desire and His purpose.

When GOD speaks, two things are revealed:

-His desire is communicated: What pleases Him. what pleases Him.

- His purpose is made known: What He intends to accomplish.

The Things shall be accomplished according to the Word sent out, for His Word does not return to Him void.

It is this Word that came to Lazarus, who was dead in his tomb. Three days had passed, according to tradition within the three days a miracle was more likely to be believed

He could rise again, since the people believed his spirit had not yet departed to realm of the departed.  “Berei and R. Pappi, R. Joshua of Sikhnin in the name of R. Levi: For the first three days after death the soul floats above the body, thinking that it will return to the body. When the soul sees the body, that the appearance of the face has changed, it leaves the body and goes its way.'” (Jerusalem Talmud, Yebamot 16:3)”

But this time it had been four days. JESUS had waited four days, to dissociate the Working of His Word with men's intellect, understanding, knowledge, way of thinking. And there at the mouth of the tomb he stood, where all plans of man had reached their capacity. He sent His Word, and death heard it. It could not keep Lazarus any longer. The plan of GOD, His thoughts, His mind, His desire was for life, and no matter how impossible it seemed all powers at work had to align to that Word. For His word does not return to Him void.

Receiving the Word of God

Has GOD spoken to you? Did you discover the purpose of that Word, did you perceive what pleases Him? How do you receive the Word of GOD?

Our life is a ground where the Word of GOD is sown. According to Luke 8:4-15 there are different types of ground where the Sower sows, but only one described among them where this Seed is well received, where it can sprout, grow, and bear fruit with patience. Which of the grounds described in this parable are we? It's the fruits that will speak; for it is the entrance of this Seed (Word) which births forth faith, and without faith it is impossible to please GOD.

GOD wants us to get up and run. He is saying it's time to run. And not just directionless, but to run in the order of His WORD. To run as the people of GOD's Word.
